I like him. Good size, tough and a better kick than advertised.

Lovely weighted kicking in the wet against the saints and runs hard both ways.
Looks like he wants to be there and improve along the way.
There is a lot to like about this kid.
Workaholic on the track too.

Picked it early..........He can play in a senior AFL side.....very good game tonight. As others have mentioned, his body size is his attribute thus far......and he can find the footy too.

He's playing a very important role in the midfield at the moment - using his strength to close down the opposition when they have it and to open paths for our players when the 'Pies get their hands on the ball. He's better than Beams because he covers the ground more quickly, runs better defensively and takes the pressure off the class footballers - but I know there are still a whole bunch of you who won't accept that.

Thanks Bears... this trade might well turn out on the right side of the ledger. Beams is a good player, and poccasionally he has a big influence on matches. But if he had had the imact that Crispy had tonight, I'd have been more than happy with him. All we need now is for JdG to turn out as good as he looks, and the Bears can stay on our Christmas card list.

Crisp, Oxley and Ramsay.

All pleasant surprises performing above expectations,

And to think these names are still to come Scharenberg, Freeman, De Goey, Moore, Kennedy, Maynard and Marsh.
He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD!

Crisp is crisp. Loved Beams' impact but worried sometimes about his lack of accountability. Can't have him AND Swanny in the same team and not get hurt. Crisp runs hard both ways and whilst not having the out and out skill of Beams he may be a better team fit going forward.
Get back on top.
