5 year deal $700,000 a year on table for Treloar!

Post by inxs88 »

According to Damien "purple" Barrett on the Footy Show tonight. He has proven to be much more accurate than his contemporary Mark "take it to the bank" Robinson.

This chase of Treloar is smart, necessary and hopefully successful as his silk would complement our current midfield. Our ace in the pack in getting this over the line????

Taylor Adams! Here is the pitch Taylor:

1. Anzac Day clash every year
2. 80,000 members and an average weekly attendance of 65,000+
3. Re-unite with Nathan Buckley, your under 16 Australian coach
4. Big club, home of footy
5. your family and friends
6. Less competition for on ball spots (no Shiel, Coniglio, Smith, Whitfield, Smith, Griffin, Greene etc...)
7. No travel every 2nd week: less stress on body: longer career
8. Eddie McGuire's current and post career options and contacts
9. Playing next Mr Professional "Scott Pendlebury"
10. Become a Collingwood icon

There you go Taylor. Give him a call!

They both were.
Shiel and Treloar, who grew up passionate Carlton supporters and share a March 9 birthday, will make the trip north before GWS's official launch on November 16.

Firstly I hope this is true and comes to fruition. The kid is an absolute jet, 22 years of age and his best footy to come.

My only concern is what will we have to give up to get him?

Cheers

Treloar is immensely talented and would be happy to have him even if the money allegedly offered is massive for a kid his age.

Like others here I'm concerned about what we would have to give up to obtain him and also we need to ensure that we have enough key position stocks heading into the future in my opinion as the talent through the midfield is starting to emerge now. Maybe Moore and Scharenberg will be the answer to that slight problem.
