As a canberra citzen and a collingwood social club member + AFL member I am very disapointed in your attiude about this game being held in canberra. WE are not thrird rate citzens as some of you have called us just because we don't live in melbourne it does't mean we dont have the same passion for the club than any one else .
As it is a 14 hour return trip to melbourne by car i only get to see the mighty pies play 4/5 times a year as most of you are luck enough to see the pies most weekend's let us canberra fans have the pleasure of seeing them thump those pissant rooboys in our own backyard with out being bagged for it because its not being played in melbourne.
As for manuka oval i can assure you the playing surface is in A1 nick .
so buy your ticket come up here and im sure you will be surprised how good a city canberra is!

Personally I look forward as a collingwood supporter to meeting you in Canberra.
My beef (and Im sure all the other Pies supporters) is with the AFL and the endangered roos, I actually like interstate trips to meet and identify with fellow like minded pie supporters, the fact that it is Canberra is irrelevant.
So hang in there cause the magpie army is coming north, very , very soon
