f*cken moorcroft...his mark ONLY looked good cos hes a shortarse...and it looke dlike he was really high when he wasnt...he was about at spider burtons head height for chisake!!

pisses me off that ppl reckon its better than taz's...its f*cked...(does it show that i hate moorcroft?)

Take nothing away from the Moorcroft mark. It was spectacular but,.......a one on one duel. The type of mark you take against your mate down at the park. "you stand there and I'll take a speccy" type thing.
Put up against Tarrants mark it is nothing. Taz had to fight a pack and an arm pulling him down. BTW, is it only me who thinks the picture in the Sun of Bizzels mark is far superior to Moorcrofts? Why no poll on that one?

I reckon the Taz mark was far better for several reasons:

Taz had to anticipate the mark by sprinting to the pack from about 30 metres away and just before the ball was delivered, whereas the ball was in the right position for Moorecroft.

There was actually a big pack in Tazz's mark whereas Moorecroft was a one on one contest.

The ball was kicked in from about 45 metres for the Taz mark whereas the Moorecroft mark was a pathetic little "chip" type kick that would have only travelled about 20 - 25 metres.

Taz got much higher.

Both were great marks but I reckon the Taz mark wins hands down.

And to add to that mr pieman, as ive just seen on the news the ball that moorcroft marked was clearly touched of the boot.....

I thought pizzell's mark was better than mongcroft's, but that tarrant trumps them both. pizzell and mongcroft both took their marks in an indoor stadium environment, with a closed roof, and no elements affecting them. mongcroft also had the sit of the century on poor brad johnson and, showpony that he is (despite his claims to the contrary), made his mark more spectacular than it really needed to be. it reminded me of kick to kick, when someone would set up one of your mates up with a kick, and your eyes would light up as you launch into his back. tarrant had no such luxury. damp soggy MCG, wind, tarks skying a ball high into the 50, a tangle of 5 players, nicholson holding his jumper and dragging him down, and tarrant absolutely EXPLODING into the pack at full pace.

Well if you want to hear Alex Jesaulenko's opinion - as I did tonight on 3aw with Gerard Healy - Tarrant's mark in the pack was definitely the best.
Take it from an expert.

Yes Stik I heard that to. The only expert that I would take into account. They also heard 'Jerka' Jenkins for an opinion and he says Tarrants is better as well.

The only problem is isn't the winner voted by the phone by the public therefore it is who has the most supporters to ring.

Moorcroft was a great mark but Tarrant was overall 10 times better.
