Oh man, 1/2 way home might have to watch that second half again

How AWESOME was that?

The atmosphere was sooooo good

And I would just like to add

To all the doubters

Suck a lemon

Because BLAIR ROCKED IT TONIGHT!

OH YEAH!

Gave the dog a kickin at half time, fluffed up and moved his bed to the front of the heater at the 28 minute mark of the last.

Serve up what we did in the first half and we will get found out by Carlton or St Vomit, never mind the better teams.

Still, we are a young side and it is characteristic of young sides that there is a bloody big gap between their best and their worst. We need to keep working on consistency. It'll take time ... but along the way, we are going to see a few little hints of magic like Q3 today.

Elliot, obviously amazing. Thought Adams was also very good... Sidebottom & Swans second half. Amazing comeback not led from Pendlebury (for once).
He looked to be struggling big time in the last qtr, should rest him against the Dees and give him a couple of weeks off.

But whatever floats your boat.

I'll take Kennedy.
Exactly. Fasolo's work to rove one touch (something Blair struggles to do), shake a tackle and put it on the boot into blairs lap was what set up the sealer blair ended up kicking.
He still had to be in the right place, mark it and kick it. But don't let me get in the way of more brown and Blair bashing.

News flash- he ain't the greatest.....but he ain't the worst.
1. I've never bashed brown.
2. Blair's first half, along with others was terrible. He's still not consistent enough and can't be relied on to play in the middle. De Goey is a 1st year player and is better at a centre clearance. I'm glad blair improved in 2nd half. So he should too. But does that mean he should always get a game at the expense of trying a younger kid in his role from time to time? I dont think so

1. Never said you did.

2.No it doesn't, but every time we are behind the same flogs come out in the game day thread and bag out brown, bucks then him in that order. Just stupid. Ok so he's not an elite player ..... But it's not all his fault either. Full team out there, and when they got on top so did he and he kicked a very important goal at a very important time. Go watch it again.

Call for him to be dropped for player x. Fine. But bag the shit of a guy who does his best for YOUR club I'm calling you out. Not saying that's you.... But you joined in so wear it.

DeGoey...so clean and aware. One touch flicks and shepherds in the centre square from a baby. Going to be a gem.

Bloody hell that's fantastic.

I didn't get to listen to th game as I finished work late & caught the 1/2 time score on the iPhone.

saw the last half of the last qtr on TV

So these this type of information is great.

An absolutely stirring win. So significant, because the players now know that their fighting spirit can deliver the near impossible.

At Half Time it was:

Collingwood: 27 - 66 North Melbourne

We were winning:

Clearances: 26-13
Tackles: 47-37
Stoppages: 19-7

We were losing:

Inside 50s: 24-33
Contested Possessions: 73-79
Hitouts: 17-23
And by a huge margin Disposals: 164-214

We also had an effective disposal percentage of 54%.

How did we turn it around? And to kick 9 goals and keep them goalless in the third?
