That prick stevic should be hung, drawn and quartered, what a damn maggot swine he truly is. ! Gutsy win, not pretty, but gutsy, got the job done, no injuries, cloke and ox were fantastic. Solid win, got the job done, we move on, next week for chrissakes bring in ben reid, if able, and drop jesse, he has had enough chances now, needs a run in the magoos now for sure. great day for neil daniher, one unique and brave man.
Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

About one million.AN_Inkling wrote:It was a difficult one. Melbourne put a spare back to stop Cloke's dominance after the first. This worked and curbed his influence, but Oxley had a big impact as the spare at the other end. How many would Cloke have kicked without the extra man back?stoliboy wrote: They couldn't believe Oxley was allowed to be unmarked for most of the game.

One of Clokes greatest games.
That one handed mark he took, reaching about six feet in the air - while being held - was top shelf.
A nice day on the park.
Only thing i didn't like - Not enough booing of Harry O

Brilliant game. Dee's really came out to win. They only played three quarters. I believe we are the best second half team in the league. The ice bath idea was so funny. Sam Newman looks like my neighbour every morning on his run. Now I believe one of our players is firming as a favourite for the Chas Brownlow Medal. Wait and read my post on that. Glad we are still winning to remain competitive as we approach season half way mark. Go Pies
I love this club and I hold anyone in contempt who does not think it is worth fighting for.

Some very good efforts by a number of players.
Love the way Marley never gives up even though
he is not the most talented player. On the game day thread
I mentioned whether Broomy will make it.
Of course, the usual guard dogs jumped down my throat.
A big hello to Jackcass!
His ( Broomy) 2nd half was very poor.
I just wonder whether playing him mainly as a small forward
is the right way to go.
He got 41 possies last week in the VFL as a midfielder.
I don't think he will make it by playing his first 50 games as
a forward.
I know he lacks strength but I think it is the midfield or nothing.
i would play some of the midfield players like Pendles and Swan and Crisp a little more up forward.
And I would delete Blair.
But I am in the minority there.
But I don't care what the minority thinks.
Be patient thomsoc, 41 is the reserves is great but he's got to learn his craft for afl. I'm happy for him to play "out of position" and learn to play for the team structure.
May I ask who you would take out of the midfield to give him a midfield role?
we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest.

Good win, did what we had to do late on and ran away with it really.
One of those wins you put in the bank and almost forget about, apart from the Ox and Clokey of course.
Brodie's last quarter was huge, and Kennedy gave us some bite when he came on.
We've got areas to improve on but 7-3 is a damn great start to the season for a young side.

apparently witts has been a bit off colour over the last few days.neil wrote:What happened to Witts?
Could not have been worse than White
as for white, his games must look worse on tv than i think they are. i didn't think he was as bad as people are making out. need to watch the replay. he didn't see a lot of it but i thought he competed ok.
