Geoff Motley was one of my childhood heroes. Wore no.17 for Port Adelaide in the 50s and 60s and was captain of them when I first started going to the football. Captain-coach of Port's 1959 premiership team and captained the 1962, 1963 and 1965 premiership teams under Fos Williams. Won the 1964 Magarey Medal. Great player. Played half back when I saw him playing but had been a forward earlier in his career. Was about as good-looking as Bucks too (Ha ha ha, sorry Bucks. I don't mean to be cruel, but let's face it mate, you're no oil painting ... and neither was Motley).

Motley and Bucks ... conclusive proof that looks do not make a footballer.

I'm not sure Bucks is "gorgeous". But if the quality of his girlfriends are taken into account, then he cannot be ugly!

Buckley is managed by Craig Kelly. Geof Motley was his manager up until a couple of years ago.
