The previous two weeks were great efforts, this one was garbage. No composure at all, turn over after turn over, endless wasting of opportunities. Maybe not so much in terms of missing shots on goals but our ball use going forward was a disgrace. Understand the wet conditions made it tough but still our decision making was poor. We went in with the wrong team, far too tall. What was Bux thinking playing Witts, Grundy and Moore together, damn nonsense. Another senseless defeat, another missed opportunity for 4 points. No joy to be had here, this was a inexperienced team showing all of its inexperience and we had no leaders stand up either. No Pendles or Swan or Cloke at the end to drag us over the line. Port were goal less for what seemed like and eternity and we could not summon the balls to harden the f-up, man up and peg them back. This game has me feeling sick in the guts, if this is going to be a hallmark of our side, choke and stumble at end game then we are in for a lot of pain. #$%#!!!

FMD can't buy a win at the moment. 4 losses by 10 pts or less.

Good fight but 1st Qtr cost us tonight basically not on the park and then had to work twice as hard just to get back.

no doubt the boots are going to be laid into all and sundry even though the margin is less than the other two losses in this stretch. we were well beaten in parts but we never gave up. doesn't get us the four points but we have a group that doesn't give up. no reason why we should give up on them.

18 inside 50's in the last quarter, but why did we not man up their loose man?

A few of the young blokes panicked under pressure tonight and bombed it long when they needed to think their way through it a little better. Pretty good effort, a few head scratching decisions by umps (hands in the back?? - both arms around a forward not allowing him to go to the ball called play on, etc.), but we should never have let this be so close.

I am really p.....ed off by this loss. Should not have happened.
The selection of Brodie Grundie left us one runner short.
The endeavour, courage and determination of our team in the dying minutes was awesome. Bucks has got the psychology right. But his tactical decision making in selecting the team was truly woeful. I am sure, had we had another guy to run through the centre, we would have won. Gutted in the extreme. Bucks, you need to improve.

Shattering loss, kills any hope of doing anything this season, will end up 7th or 8th at best and probably head interstate for a final.

Tried our arses off, well 16 players did, the 6 forwards were beyond terrible.

Need to fix that forward line or we aren't going anywhere.

I thought the forwards gave up at the first bounce....
