It's called class and composure, and we don't have it. Can't have the likes of Toovey, Brown and Frost all playing together with only Moore, Langdon and Williams to help. Need Reid and Scharenberg so badly in defence it's not funny. We get ZERO composure out of D50, and very little inside F50. This team needs to evolve to weed out straight out blue collar and balance it with more class. JDG will help...

Last year we were F'd in the A by injuries and lacked the talent to win a game.

This year we are fit and healthy and still getting fukking beaten in games we should be winning.

The improvement is there but it isn't what people were pulling themselves over in the past 6 weeks, certainly not enough to be thinking premierships any time soon.

A few of the young blokes panicked under pressure tonight and bombed it long when they needed to think their way through it a little better. Pretty good effort, a few head scratching decisions by umps (hands in the back?? - both arms around a forward not allowing him to go to the ball called play on, etc.), but we should never have let this be so close.

Agree. Gifted them a couple of easy goals in the 1st and made it a tough ask to fight back into it.

wet weather footy tonight dictated it needed to be about territory. beter to kick it long than get caught fiddly about with handball. only thing is our kicks tend to go to an oppo player rather than favour us.

Only saw the second half of the game. Pies were tremendous and extremely unlucky to lose. Port's last goal was from a deadset hands in the back in the pies defender. That is paid 100% but not tonight. Pies couldn't get a bounce or a free but what's new about that.

Sidebottom is a magician. There's no doubt about it.
