Were the Essendon supporters defending Hird or calling for his sacking?

One of the best songs ever written, they had some catchy tunes back in the 19th century

Speaking of the great musician Yahoo Serious, great cover of an old Chuck Berry song.

In tragic news, it appears the 15 year old son of Nick Cave has died. It is reported he fell down a seaside cliff face in Brighton Sussex.
Awful.

Marco Minnemann, drummer/genius in his Dream Theater audition. I know they ultimately chose Mike Mangini but Marco really is one out of the box. I had the privilege of seeing him playing live with Joe Satriani here late last year and I am quite confident that I will never hear better drumming.

Marco's at 16 minutes in the following video from the Dream Theater auditions:

Melbourne's own Virgil Donati (another incredible musician) is featured from about 10 minutes.

Here's a film (from above Marco) of MM playing Unstoppable Momentum live with Joe. It doesn't really capture the excitement of hearing him do it on stage but it does let you see a little of his startling technical capabilities. If I got to see him play live with John Wetton one day, I could probably die happy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8qAdg79j8Y

Zep. Last year's remaster of "III". Gallows Pole was always a work of dark and great beauty but it sounds fresher than ever. Even the cover of Waggoner's Lad scrubs up well. It's like Bonham and Jones are playing right there in the back of my car (not sure if that's an entirely good thing).
