Out of all our youngsters I think those top 6 will be blue chip.

I am excited about Goodyear and Marsh but don't have high expectations although they could be extraordinary players.

On top of these, Grundy, Elliott, Kennedy, Langdon, Williams , Adams, Fasolo and Karnesis will form an exciting core. ( and hopefully Wittsy )

Just quietly, and I am stating the obvious, but I cant believe Reid and Brown are still 25!

So there are 18 players who are young largely untried and so promising. :) :) 8)

Collingwood in 2015 could have one of those years that things go right for and exceed expectations. I have a gut feeling about it.

magpieazza, I hope they Gel! That means, characterwise, play for each other and compliment each other. A lot of this depends on Buckley and the coaching staff! Should be a great ride!

Feeling good about it Mossi. We know the SA crew are tight. Moore and De Goey are almost brothers and not sure on the rest but being the similar age and coming through together under Bucks and co, like you said should be a great ride.

A backline with Marley and Maynard is going to hurt a lot of forwards. Can't wait to see them in action.

Me too. One step better than 2002 and two better than 2007 would be just bloody lovely thanks

This current crop of youngsters have something about them, the bonuses would be if Crisp, Karnesis and Witts have good careers.

#4 Brayden Maynard

Post by Dave The Man »

Collingwood, meanwhile, have re-signed young defender Brayden Maynard to a two year contract extension, tying him to the club until the end of 2018.
Taken at pick 30 in last year's draft, Maynard has played the past three matches since making his debut against Hawthorn in round 14.
That is Fantastic News :D

It is funny I haven't watched him much on the footy field.
He really has slipped way under my radar.
They tell me he is a good kick.
But I can't give any opinion whether it is great news or not.
we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest.
