Malthouse Press Conference: what innovation can we come up w

Just downloaded Malthouse's comments from today's press conference. Here's a brief summary

- JOSH: Basically sounds like he won't be playing - has ligament damage, but won't know more till Friday. "Won't put in a player who's not in a position to perform at his best".
- BUCKS:"We're confident that Nathan will be right". Definitely an ankle problem, not hamstring
- RICHO & WAKES:Won't say about Richo or Wakelin until after tomorrow's training

And a real primer to get us down to the 'G this weekend:
"We want them there in big, big numbers...to make it as hostile as it can be at the MCG"
followed by this:
"I'd be tickled pink to see some sort of demonstration from the Collingwood supporters that they are there en masse to see Collingwood win and make it as difficult as they can for Brisbane"

Maybe put that on the banner so the whole crowd sees it and gives them hell.

If we could co-ordinate every magpie fan at the ground to stand and belt out the Club song at 2:08 - BEFORE THE GAME - imagine the effect on both teams - if only we could make it appear to be spontaneous.

90% of the crowd will be Magpie and the atmosphere would be unbelievable.

Perhaps the Cheer Squad and everybody who reads this Bulletin Board could start and and the rest of them will get drawn into it.

In fact, I'm feeling a bit lazy. I think we'll just do ONE chant this week.

It'll start about 10 past 2 and finish about 20 minutes after the match has finished.

I reckon all Magpie fans should grab their black members caps and wave them in the air. There should be 30,000 there on the weekend.

The whole idea of giving out the caps to members was to display the size of the magpie army so lets do it.

Think of it this way - all the true supporters will be able to do it because they are paid up members.
