The only way you're going to get people to get loud is to get them started. We need a crowd warmer, and it has to be something they all know and can join in with.

There's only one thing that fits that bill and that's the song.

Once they've been a part of a mass singing, you'll never shut them up.

Joffa i think it's great that u r involving all the other Collingwood supporters in this because obviously the cheersquad is not everyone's 'cup of tea' (gay saying i know

) but being all Collingwood we are all just as much part of the club.

So JLC where r u man....u and i will 'spread the word down the Ponsford Stand brother' and im sure Joffa will tell everyone at the pub before the game hmm and have yaz posted on all the other Collingwood Bulletin Boards to tell them???

Ok now we got the flier,thanks Mike.
The best and cheapest way to distribute them would be to stick them up at the pubs,railway stations and tape them to the trees around the G.

Joff & Mike & cobood - fantastic idea!

Just printed out the flyer and it looks all CLASS. If you guys can pull this off- it'll go down in history. That's why I downloaded & printed the flyer you see, it'll be valuable memorabilia hehe

I lament the fact that I'll be absent on the Sunday, but I hope all Magpie fans turn out to cheer on the team and at the same time, make the lions players' squirm in fear at Pie land.

It will be a miracle if we pull this off, but it's worth the effort. As biodave has pointed out, we might just witness the birth of a tradition.

I just know in my bones that if we can make it happen the crowd will be primed and will be LOUD and PROUD for the rest of the day.

If we don't do it - we'll never know.

Hi Again

Ok, I have 100 copies (4/page) to hand out.

How do you all want to organise this? We could designate areas outside / inside the ground to distribute the fliers - don't want to be doubling up. And putting them on trees etc is a fantastic idea!

The cheer squad will need to start it very loudly to get everyone involved. Is there any way we can get the message up on the scoreboard or the P.A. system?
