DTM, White is not my favourite player but he did kill that VFL game off with his brilliant first half. Credit where it's due, he was stunningly good, on the day.Dave The Man wrote:White and Match-Winning is 2 Words I never thought I see in the Same SentencePies4shaw wrote:You couldn't possibly retain Moore on that display with Cloke available and White in match-winning form.

Agree, and more importantly for White he actually clunked a few overhead contested marks which was his major issue.Pies4shaw wrote:DTM, White is not my favourite player but he did kill that VFL game off with his brilliant first half. Appreciate Dave's angst on the possible inclusion of White at the expense of Moore. Moore is the future but he's just not impacting yet, 5 games, 4 as a forward and he's managed 5 goals. Sadly, all those came in 1 game.

AgreeNeil Appleby wrote:After waiting almost two seasons to see Marsh get his chance, I thought there were some pleasing signs with his ability to win the ball and back his judgement. He had an opponent though, who kicked 4 goals. He'll learn a lot from his first game. I hope he holds his spot.Boot wrote: I thought Marsh did enough to probably hold his spot, it would appear that Marsh, Goldsack and Sharenberg are battling for the one spot.
we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest.

For one game? Yer right. Any tool can have one good game. To force your way back into any decent team after being dropped you should have to string a series of good games together. What'sinaname wrote:Have to reward White, or any player dropped who then plays really well in the VFL. Sends the right message to players that work hard and you will be rewarded.
