The most forward 50 disposals a team has had in a loss this season is 74. Collingwood has currently had 83 disposals in its forward 50, compared to Sydney with 40 disposals in its forward 50. - See more at:

So does that mean our game plan works but our players just can't convert?
What happened to it?

A bit like Gold Coast last year. I don't care who we recruit this year as long as they know how to kick. Should have been 4 goals up and a stupid kick and the get an uncontested goal. And can anybody get front and square of Cloke besides the opposition.
Annoying opposition supporters since 1967.

I blame the recruiting!
Time and time again we are hopeless kicks
Whether it is going at goals or trying to hit a target we are frigging hopeless
But keep telling me Hine and the recruiting is marvellous.
Just shut up and look at the score board
The recruiting is brilliant, we are well on the way to wiping the Hawks off the map.

Brilliant recruiting allows us to outplay a team with 800 games more experience. They got the win, but we were the better team. Sure we didn't win but we are a young team still finding our way, not much more was expected this season. The future is bright.
Well done boys!

Yet we have players who are good finishers in the VFL that we refuse to play.

Disappointing, but this is always going to happen with a team on the build. It'll take another year or so, but we'll be there. Great things to come from Moore, DeGoey, Marsh, Grundy, Williams, Sinclair, etc etc. We'll be better next year.

I suspect our fitness base is not quite strong enough, which explains why we are missing set shots we shoudl kick.

That game on the G woudl have ended differently, I think, as the Swans slingshot rubbish works best on that tiny little congested ground..

Killed us on the fast break. How many goals did they get from that?

Bright side Jono Marsh looks really promising. Moore showing glimpses. Higher draft pick.
There is no higher draft pick - we can't fall any lower
WE are in no-mans land.

No Finals - no high draft picks - unless another elite walks because our coach is an arrogant Flog!

Our shitiness knows no bounds. We are regressing at a rate of knots. Are supporters the only one who are alarmed by this??

Take the game on Collingwood !!! FFS. We play scared. We don't back ourselves to take it to the opposition. Our forward entries are laboured and slow, and the opposition have all the time in the world to organise their defense.

You are a fool!
Kicking, no fumbling and contested marking is what matters in AFL footy in 2015
And we are crap in all of them.
But keep believing in the rubbish that Bucks keeps feeding you!!!
we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest.

No ! Do you watch the games with your eyes closed or your hand down your pants?

How many goals the last 3 years have been kicked 'over the back'. Other coaches go to town on his ridiculous all in press, with no speed cover at the back.

We are a very good football side, just need a good coach!

I know we're all sick of honourable losses but the fact is that we're progressing well.

Newsflash for all those who can't see further than a week or two, we were never going to win the flag this year so let's keep some perspective.

We've made massive progress this season, from an easy target for quality sides early in the year to being able to go toe to toe with the serious teams.

This time next year is likely to be a very different story regarding involvement in the finals, for now I'm happy to get games into the young players and still get an early pick or two.

There's no regressing. This year has been a definite improvement on last season.

Another game we should have won, and the worse thing is that it was a carbon copy of the loses to Freo, hawks, etc...Miss crucial gimme goals and watch the ball go down the other end uncontested.

Oh, that and the under 9's levels of skills, even Pendles butchered the ball on numerous occasions

Disgusting and PATHETIC. 10: SIXTEEN!!!! Unbelievably inept. Toovey must be finished now.He was poor. I can't believe Pendles could be so bad. Terrible and the losing margin was Pendles missing a sitter and the resulting goal from the kick in was the margin we lost by. I could go on but something needs to done. Some of the goals Sydney got were embarrassing to watch and WHERE was Cloke when we needed him at the end.I'm gutted and angry. It was PATHETIC.
