Just about summed the year up that game. It was a repeat of the Hawthorn game. Swan were a lot cleaner. They made smarter decisions.

Kicking, no fumbling and contested marking is what matters in AFL footy in 2015
And we are crap in all of them.
But keep believing in the rubbish that Bucks keeps feeding you!!!
You'll see mate. You'll be just like all of those who thought we were garbage in 2008-2009 and wanted to sack Malthouse. If you can't see past your biases to see reality then I can't help you. The Hawks are on the way out and we are on the way up. Our marking and ball use is fine and our recruiting is better than Hawthorn's (their success rate is actually quite ordinary, they just had a lot of picks).
Totally agree mate.
Nice to read someone looking at the bigger picture ahead. Sick of these so called supporters sticking there boots in and hitting below the belt.
Yeah
2 flags in nearly 60 years but lets pick out 2008 and 2009 you rabbit!
Why not pick out 1991, 1992, 1993,1994.1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999

we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest.

I thought we'd be 12th or 13th at the beginning of the year with a big step up next year. Hopefully now we do finish lower because I want the choices of the earlier draft pick.

I think you could add the very inept Tom Langdon to that list.He thinks He's Pendlebury but he AIN'T.[/quote]
Tommy had 24 disposals and he is just 21 years.
Pendles fumbled a bit but he has to carry those 3.

It would have been beneficial for this developing team to have won a couple of close ones this year. There is a real possibility they will become a group who toil away honestly - but never quite get there - until it becomes culturally ingrained. If 2016 becomes a carbon copy of 2014/15 we will be perpetually developing, looking to a bright future that never quite materialises. It's a worry.

Tips for posting after a loss;

Take a deep breath

Maybe go for a nap

Have a cold shower

Wait a couple of days before you express your feelings

No one cares about how you've had a f'ing nuff of it, or how our coach and players are shit, or the recruitment guys are shit or the game plan blah blah blah.

Its a game, if we won every week and won the premiership every year no one would give a toss. You need the bad times to enjoy the good times.

Need to improve this area of our game. We supposedly have good inside mids but getting smashed from the centre clearances tells a different story.
Agree, just couldn't stop them getting a quick answering goal. Remains our biggest issue.

I think we will look to make a couple of smart moves at year's end. We are close, given how we have competed against the top teams. A bit more familiarity will breed better ball movement. But I do also think we need a couple of personnel changes. Not sure Greenwood is really what this team needs.
Well done boys!

Buckley's ineptitude in the box will bring that to fruition.
At this rate well finish the H&A season with a percentage of about 110.00%, while shit-kicker teams will arse their way into the final eight, with percentages well below 100.00%

Anyhoo, hope these pox pink ducks get ARSE-RAPED by the tiggers or the dogs in week one of the finals.
That will give Princess Muppet something to sook about.

Have another bong numpty.
Meanwhile we will live life and demand more from our football club and those paid handsomely to lead it.

Why don't you wait another 30 years for your next premiership if you are so chilled out about it all.

Your post represents what this club is becoming, mediocre.
When 5 years ago we were the feared powerhouse.

Your plan: Just Wait Dude !

God speed to the MCG next week you good people who still have faith

Nathan Buckley is a dud to me, and I can't see any way forward at the moment

If you have optimism still, I admire it

I'm just totally over this at the moment

Same old Milne every year under him...
We just got nutted at the clearances...

Mugwump wrote:One positive thing from a bad situation is is that we can now experiment a little in the next few rounds, pumping games into Scharenberg, Marsh, Maynard and perhaps Mason Cox.

The year's results have shown that we are consistently about two goals off the best teams in the league, with a lot of upside. It'll be a long summer but I'm looking forward to starting again at 0-0.
Trying to look at this positively. You make an amazing point there. If we are only two goals off the best sides then our future looks phenomenal because there are about 8 teams who can't say that.

Thanks Mugwump, was feeling pretty peeved about tonight, albeit I think we rediscovered our mojo to some extent which was good.
