They do that a lot. #1 ranked team in the comp for final quarters. Percentage in them of just under 203%...

They did the same against us mid-year. Basically, you need to come out firing in the first quarter and take your chances, break even with them in the next two quarters, then pack numbers behind the ball and hold your nerve when they inevitably come storming back in the last.

They'll have quite a few AFL listed players available this week as well you'd imagine.

They have 22 eligible players to choose from, apparently, which is just ridiculous...

Ok as all my local teams and the Pies are done, this is all I have left to cling to. SO CMON THE VFL PIES!!!

With the exception of Benny Reid load up and get the rest in here.

IN: Moore, Marsh, BK, Maynard, Scharenberg, Goodyear
OUT: Frost, Wallace, Close, Borthwick, Gray, Matheson

B: Armstrong Marsh Maynard
HB: Scharenberg R.Pendles Young
C: Seedsman Caff Dwyer
HF: Karnezis Moore CaptainJack
F: Cox Still Blair Jr
R: Witts Maloney BK
Int: Goodyear Manteit J.Williams J.Taylor Viola*

Ash Close gets a run if Darcy isn't interested, but I reckon Darcy will be keen. Great competitor and chance to go the rare flag triple combo (U18, VFL, AFL... Yes calling it early we will win the flag next year).

Lachie Wallace local Franga team in a 2nd Semi this week so gets a run with them so he can have next week available with us.

Gus & Gray just unlucky.

Absolutely, JW. Especially considering the presence of guys like Saad and Dennis-Lane in Sandy's forward line...

I do hope you're right gents, however 2 of his 6 PFL games have been against 2nd Semi opponent, top of the table Mt Eliza, who have a VanUnen whose booted 100 for the season.

My guess is Lach may be required elsewhere to get them through to the GF and the week off next week, where he can then make a reappearance with us for our Prelim.

Gees that kid Viola shows something. Lovely reader of the high ball and brave. Wallace was superb on Sunday. I hope we play Close even if Moore comes in. There is still room for him if we run a ruckman off the bench. Means Karnezis can spend time in the middle and Close can play third tall forward behind Still and Moore. I hope many of the St.Kilda players that are qualified are booked in for surgeries this week. Let's hope we don't rest anyone.

I agree on Viola. There is something about him. Looks very assured. Rookie?
Daicos, impossible angle ... Goal!
