One of the "spunkiest" footballers has retired/quit after an apparent drunken binge on the weekend.
It has just been rumoured on Channel 9 that Collingwood has already shown its interest in getting Modra to come over and play for the Greatest Club in the World, if he can show that he is fully fit and over his injuries. What do you think?
I'm sure that Collingwood was probably only mentioned amongst about 6 other clubs (as always), and I really think that, although Modra could add his good looks around the place, he is probably getting too old to try again. Maybe he should just concentrate on his surfing!!!
Tony Modra - gone!!!

Hell will freeze over before we get Modra. It is clear that Collingwood has taken a youth policy to build our future upon. Why would be go against this and pick up a footballer past his use by date. Surely we have learnt from previous mistakes like Jonathon Ross. Modra would not be a good influence on the younger players and is too old.
Im tipping we will get Dean Solomon at the end of the year. Lets face it Essendon are having salary cap problems. Im guessing a first round draft pick and a young player like Scotland or somebody of that ilk. Solomon would comliment our backline beautifully and would add to the hardness of our team.
EVERYONE IS A COLLINGWOOD SUPPORTER ITS JUST THAT SOME PEOPLE ARE IN DENIAL
