A past champ would be a good choice spidergirl, but who's out there? If only Trevor Barker was still around.
I'm trying to think of what they can do, but I think they're in big trouble. Someone like Mark Harvey is probably the right choice cos he's hungry for success and not for money.
1. The Saints have no past champions suitable for a coaching post.
2. Blight's public blasting of the club culture is EXACTLY what that club needs. That he has been criticised for it is more a commentary on exactly how correct he was in his assessment.
If they face up to their problems and admit publicly that they do have problem with their culture and their attitude, it's going to help them progress. Sacking (trade) Everitt would also help. No matter how much they say he's a leader and all the youngsters look up to him, not all leaders have a positive influence. The way he played in the 2nd half against the Crows has happened b4 and shouldn't be accepted by any person involved in any football club. You can't keep hiding these problems and saying it'll all be come good. St. Kilda must make a stance with its players too, and hopefully their new coach will.
WILD THOUGHT - Perhaps it is time that coaches who get sacked go to VCAT, take a club to the Unfair Dismissal tribunal if a coach has not had long enough to fulfill his contract. (that's only if a coach is sacked...by the way sorry if I'm not making sense!).
One thing i've found down at Saints is that noone whether it be admin players and supporters face the facts! Everythings always rosy down there when in actual fact its not!

When I heard the news this morning I almost busted a rib from laughing so hard.
What a sad pathetic excuse for a football club. The sooner this
worthless club folds the better.
No doubt they will come crying poor to the AFL because they wont be able to pay his contract out.
