Where is Scott Burns!!!!!
Does anybody out there know where is Scott Burns, he was allegedly ready to play against Hawthorn, and by God did we ever need him!!!!, today we fell apart, we were gutted, are we still young? do we still need experience? We should have beaten Hawthorn in round 1 with Shaun Rehn and Daniel Harford, they weren't there and we still copped a hiding while we were practically at full strength, this is indeed a bitter pill to swallow, can anybody out there tell me what is wrong. FRUSTRATED.
A case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde... the wrong Collingwood showed up at the MCG today.

Yes we certainly do miss Scott Burns. Obree desperately needs help in the midfield. I think it may be time to bring in players like Scotland, Adkins, Shaw etc to freshen up the team and provide us with more run.
It was also interesting to see how many fights i witnessed between Collingwood Supporters at the footy. There were at least 2 or 3 fights at the pub after the game. There was a "potential" fight at your end Joffa after the game. Despite my actions last week i believe its important that we need to stick together and support the club.

I hate to say this - but is scotty burns worth the money we pay him ? I am one of his greatest fans, but for a vice captain of the club, earning near 300-400K per year - are we getting value for money ?
We are getting to the stage of our footy clubs development that we need our good players playing consistent footy, and scotty has only played 3 games this year, and I know for a fact that he played most games last year with injections in his ankles.
I dont ever bag CFC players - but i pose this question ! Dermott Beretton posed the same question re: james hird & was proved to be very incorrect - I hope I am to & the vc plays 200 games for CFC - but at the minute you have to wonder !

It was always going to happen that some of the younger players would tire after a long and gruelling season.
I think Ryan Lonie could do with a rest either with extended periods on the bench or a run in the twos.
Our midfield doesnt seem to have the same energy as it did earlier in the year. One of our strengths earlier in the year was our pace. Yet last week against Hawthorn we didnt look that quick and didnt exert much pressure in our own forward line.
I would give Ben Kinnear a go this week along with Betheras and maybe Adkins and Scotland to try and get some energy back into the team.
