Port increases Stevens price

Port are dreaming as i couldnt imagine us giving up Didak. Im surprised Port havnt asked for Tarrant and a first rd draft pick.....lmao

That rule has been discussed in detail. It doesn't come in until 1 Nov, so it doesn't apply.

According to reports today a trade involving Stevens for Didak and a draft pick were discussed and Collingwood didn't dismiss it. Apparently they are waiting for MM to come back from London before proceeding. So I guess it will be Mick's call.

Has anyone considered asking the player?
I think if Didak would really rather be back home then it would be best to swap them unfortunately. But just a straight swap no extra draft picks.

If he'd rather stay at Cwood then forget it.

Definately don't trade Didak.

I've been talking to a guy from my footy team who is one of Stevens best mates and he says that we've offered 1.8mil essendon have offered 1.9mil and carlton have offered 2.2 mil all for 4 year contracts. He also said that he didn't want to go to carlton but he'd be happy to go to either essendon or Collingwood. But if essendon end up keeping solomen then I don't think they'd have the salary cap room which would put us in a good position to get stevens. I just hope that port panic about him going in the draft and we pick Stevens up cheaply.

Williams has just upped the price for Stevens again. He now wants Didak, our first round draft pick, 3 virgins, Buckleys first child, and a couple of slabs.

I can see a hostage situation arises out of this with Stevens being kidnapped and holed up at Alberton until Williams demands are met.

since this thread has already lowered it's moral tone, may I lower it still further by suggesting the slabs should go to the 3 virgins, who would have to put up with Williams in his current deranged state.
