THE VPT JUNK DRAWER. The thread you need when you don't.

Post by swoop42 »

I've been pondering for sometime that what VPT needs is a thread for any random thought or question that doesn't already have an appropriate place inside an existing one or important enough to start a new thread.

So ladies and gentlemen I present to you the Victoria Park Tavern junk draw.

Stuff any old crap inside here.

I'll start.

I was thinking the other day whatever happened to the old acidic tongued rocketronnie?

Did he follow Mick over to talking Carlton?

Elope with Jack Spain?

Not to mention Tannin, Mugwump, AN_Inkling, Bruno and Dr Pie. Where the bloody hell are they?

Does anyone suspect the recent Telstra outages are because of more sinister reasons than just human error?

I'm talking hackers.

I think he's so disillusioned with Buckley's coaching appointment that he's left the site in disgust.

Hmm, whatever that was it was clammy and shriveled. Are you sure you've got right "junk" in that drawer there, Swoop? I'm off to wash my hands, just in case!

ok, so my new shower (well, I've lived there for a year) has one of those hose shower heads, that's fixed to the wall but you can also take it off.

For some reason, when I take it out of it's little holder, I seem to forget there's actually water coming out of it. I end up with water all over the place - especially when I'm turning it around & around to make sure the hose hangs straight when I clip it back in, over the top it all goes.

I've sort of had to ban myself from detaching it, especially in the morning when the brain's not working!
