My Thoughts:

Trelor had another Big Game and Helped us to win. Did well with the Tiger Fan Booed Him(Racist;)). Kicking Effecency was Down but He just Willed the Team on

Moore was our Best Tall Forward. Did not have Great Delivery so did not get Big Numbers but Had Impact.

Gault does not look anywhere near a AFL Player. Looked like he had no Idea when he had the Ball

Fasolo pretty much won us with his 6 Goals

Our Ball Use was Disguising. Missed so many Targets

Ramsey had a Real Good Game

Oxley also Quietly had a good game. Used the Ball well

Reid make big Difference with his Ball Use out of the Backline

Got Smashed in the Clearances and that have to be Improved upon

Was Great to Stick it up Richmond after all there Bitching about them Missing Treloar

Aish was very Quiet for 3 Qtrs but had good last qtr

Grundy was poor last night but hopefully better for the run.

I wanted to punch Bucks when I saw Williams taking the kick-outs: he just can't seem to understand some players are not great kicks, and therefore should not have kick-out duties. Ox, Reid, Pendles and perhaps Ramsay should have been the ones.

Brown fumbled everything early but our usual mr fumbles, Frost, was surprisingly clean. Adams also had a bad case of the fumbles in that first half, and was generally not as good as we know he can be. Ditto Crisp.

People all around me leaving with 5 minutes to go and 17 points down. So glad I stuck it out.

That's how you get atmosphere at a game. None of that pre fabricated shite, turn on a game of footy and the crowd will engage. That atmosphere in the last 5 minutes was utterly sensational.

I can't believe people would be so fickle to leave that early! They'll be regretting that now.

I've had a gutful of seeing ways to manufacture passion like the scarf waving which was cringeworthy beyond belief. The last five minutes were euphoric! I'm amazed I didn't collapse on the ground with utter disbelief and jubilation

It has to be Organic during the Game not the Sponser Crap like at Start of the Game

He's definitely Richmond. He's one of the best commentators/journo's going around. His interview of Brent Prismall today on Grandstand was the best one I've heard on the Essendon saga.

I don't know what he's doing associating himself with Robbo however on that Fox show.

We were very lucky to win that, but wow...what an awesome finish. One to remember. If they didn't before, the neighbours now know I'm a Pies fan. I loved to see how ecstatic and united the players were at the siren. As for Eddie, I was hoping he wasn't going to have a heart attack.

I was pleased Bucks said after the game that the way we threw caution to the wind in the last 10 mins and took the game on, was what he wanted to see in the first 3 quarters. For some reason, we are a team that lacks confidence and scared of making mistakes. We've been like that for a few years now.
On this point, Wayne Carey made an interesting observation that I agree with..and that is apart from Fas, no one seemed to want the ball, to want to present to the ball carrier, to take the responsibility to make the play, in case they stuffed up. We need to fix this psychology. We need every player to demand the ball, to believe in themselves. It's a similar psychology at play with penalty shootouts in soccer. We want the type of player that demands to take the penalty.

We also need our big players, in particular the rucks to be more aggressive. Grundy was getting rag-dolled by that pretend footballer Hampson. That was doing my head in. We need someone to assume the Anthony Rocca role of 2002/3, and be a physical threat to the opposition, so that other players walk taller around him. Prior to Rocca I can only think of Monky and Millane that had that effect on our team.

We've recruited well and we have the talent. I hadn't seen much of Treloar in GWS colours, and possibly last year he was hampered with this groin injury, but I wasn't sure on that trade. I'm convinced now. The kid is a gun. He also seems pretty switched on, and talks really well.

The players are united. I think the coaches know what needs to be done. Keep improving Pies!!

PS. I really hope those supporters that left the game with 10mins to go and 16points down, learn their lesson. I'd like to think our supporters are better than that. It's about respecting the boys' efforts, more than anything, win or lose.

I just watched the second half without having the first half pollute my opinions and I reckon I saw a lot of positive signs. If the old adage of teams start next week the way they finished the previous works, we're off to a rocking start next week.

gault was no where near as bad as I thought, he was in the ruck for most of the last 8 minutes and did some nice work.

Lots of positives, I'm going to have to sleep on my back after watching it though.
