Better to warm up through the season than to peter out at the end. Learn your lessons from the match, put it behind you and move forward. Go pies!

Well %$^ me it used to be Blair's fault now it's Pendles fault. Admitted he has sore ribs and you wonder why he isn't getting in and under like he normally does. I wasn't there today but when I do go I see him directing traffic, asking his players to move into position.

What do you want from him? The only thing I do agree with is to stop playing him and risk further injury.

We are just no good. I was bullish about our chances this year, but really even in the NAB cup in particular our game against the dogs, we just turned it over to easily and it has continued through to the proper season only today we couldn't or didn't want to get the pill.

They seem to love Bucks, but either there is no game plan or the players are unable to implement it. My main concern for the last 3 seasons has been the transition from oppositions defense to attack without us applying any pressure. This normally only happened against good sides now it's all sides.

Starting to really question when will we play finals again.

Positives...

Reid good again.
Oxley very solid under a flood of pressure
Langdon back on song
Aish better this week, quicker than I thought
Treloar & Adams again solid through the midfield
Howe should be better for the run
Goodyear not embarrassed at senior level.

Negatives.... Where to start...

Moore been very poor over the last 3 games, interesting to see if he attracts as much poster heat as Gault.
Grundy was better this week but is there any chance he can take a mark, needs to lift dramatically or find some form in the VFL.
Maynard needs to find some form at VFL level.
Blair worst game for a long time.
Williams injury, any word on what it is?
Flat reactionary spectator footy.

Said before the game we allow them time and space and they'll cut us up. Shame it was 3 talls they lost through the course of the game instead of 3 runners like Montagna, Savage and Billings.

This is misguided optimism but here goes:

Round 2 2010 - Defeat Melbourne by 1 point.
Round 2 2016 - Defeat Richmond by 1 point.

Round 3 2010 - Lost to St.Kilda by 28 points after Riewoldt is injured.
Round 3 2016 - Lost to St.Kilda by 29 points after Riewoldt is injured.

Nice omen, but we're insipid at the moment.

Didn't we beat the Dogs by quite a bit in Round 1 2010?

Said previously, Bucks has this season to show improvement. 3 games in doesn't constitute a season. I'll leave it to the drama queens to run that debate.
