Unless..... the Scotland trade puts Carlton (with all the other contracts as well) out of cap room range for Stevens... then it helps us doesnt it. But surely there are lots of ther clubs who pick before we do. even if Carlton can't get him.

I'm really sad to see Scoots go. He's a good footballer that I have no doubt can still develop further and he's such a nice guy as well. I never thought I'd have a 'soft spot' for a Carlton player but I guess there's a first time for everything!

If Scoots did want to leave then credit to Collingwood for letting him go as he is worth better than a #35 draft pick. At least our Club hasn't held players careers (and lives) to ransom like Port have with Stevens.

GOOD LUCK SCOOTS - wish you all the best for your future (except when you play the Pies!).

GO PIES!

Just watching that show on fox foorty about all the trading wrap up, and they have scotland on atm in a carlton shirt, it actually makes me feel ill. I still wish him all the best though.

I'd like to know who here actually knows Scoots wanted to leave. We all know he wanted more game time but did he want to leave. Please list your source too....and don't make it from the media. Their job is to speculate at times.

I'm not so sure Scoots would be as happy about leaving as we all think.
My oxygen is Collingwood. Without it I die.

After reviewing Tess' post I take back what I said - I was obviously wrong. If he wanted to leave then fair enough he probably should be traded. Please ignore any of my other posts regarding Scoots as they will be misinformed views.

Good luck Scoots!

Personally I would have liked the Pies to try and trade Ryan Lonie for something decent as although he has good skills, a softer player I cannot recall in the Black and White. Martin Pike must think all of his Xmas's have come at once every time he gets to play on him. And I think he would have been very tradeable for a first rate player.

I'm pretty sure it was Blame that said that Scotland wanted to be traded, so they would be looking for a suitable trade. Scotland also asked to be traded last year. Sorry, no cource, because I wouldn't have a clue where I read that.
