A very, very inexperienced team, missing a lot of our top players, either injured or out of form - Swanny, Varcoe, Elliott, Ramsay, Langdon, Adams, Cloke. Two six-day breaks and a trip to Perth thrown in.

We're officially now in a development year. Absolutely nothing to be gained by switching coaches now and creating even more disunity and lack of cohesion.
I'll accept all you said there PP BUT!!! for the last bit.A new coach to get the youngsters on track. I've been a Bucks Brigader but today I saw it and it is not good.He looks like a man with NO idea.

They deliberately slowed down whenever we had momentum.
It was way way worse than anything delivered under Shaw.
Reminded me of the Mick Erwin days.

Club is officially in crisis.
Flick the hell off Bucks.
Very so. The current crop on-field is a replica of the bad days of '82 when the shit hit the fan big time. This circus is going the same way.

Which make the good times, even better.

We'll get back to the good times some day. It all starts with some changes around the club.
This. We have been here so many times before and yes it does make it so sweet when the good times come. I had not expected such a rapid decline to this level post 2010/11.

Time to hang in, support the guys out there and hope the team is improved until they are up there again I guess.

Tell that to the Hawks supporters.
I agree. Getting rid of the heart of our premiership team robbed the team of spirit, passion and loyalty. There is no flair, not enough experience out there to lead and nurture the younger players. I lamented it at the time and was devastated to see the likes of Shaw moved on. Would have much rather we had followed the Hawks manner. I also question why we have been so decimated by injury every season. There must be a reason.

But, unfortunately that is done. The team we have is what we have. There is no going back sadly. We need to support and hope for the team to be improved by whatever method until the club rises again. No matter what it takes.

Ooooooh, it's all Sunshine and Lollypops today - Bolton's shout!!

No Cloke to kick to, or at least command two defenders to negate him. Buckley FAIL. Again. Oh, and Brown asked how Casboult went too...

Tell y'all what I did last night?
I watched the replay of our last game against them from 2015.
I watched Cripps f*cking DESTROY us in the centre clearances.
He nearly stole the game from us that day, save for Swan's efforts.
I was very worried going into today that it might happen again.

Back luck that our dumb-kunt coaching staff couldn't do the same thing,
to perhaps fabricate a game plan to counter this. But, sadly no. Too hard.
And that is why the whole lot must be removed this week.

It should be obvious to all and sundry now, that we won't win another game all season. Our average losing margin, will range from 6-8-10 goals, depending on the oppositions standard of ball use.
I feel SO SORRY for all you Melbourne based die hards, who pay your money up front, and head to the MCG each week, and have to suffer shit like that. Your loyalty defies what these players and coaches deserve.

Buckley's Bullshit Bulletin should be a cracker today; i've got the popcorn and soda ready, as I sincerely hope it's the last one we have to endure.

Keep on punchin', kids.

ps. And we thought Stevic, Schmitt and Pannell were cheating dogs?
How about those three f*cking things with whistles we had to cop today?!

I just feel so gutted. My old friend (A Carlton supporter) who passed away about three years ago is smiling down on me right now, and thats the only thing that makes this loss, well bearable I guess.

Could have done with Tay and Varcs today but will need them next week.

Hopefully the Lions have a tough one over in Adelaide and pick up some minor and major niggles.

On the bright side I thought there was a fair bit of effort and intensity at times in the last quarter. We did want to win it but our legs wouldn't let us.

And congrats to Crocks for lifting in the last.
Yeah, I thought there was a bit to like there with young Crocker.

I don't feel any anger, just sadness at what has happened to our club.We have just become a directionless rabble, with no heart, skill,no structures, and no game plan.

Nathan Buckley,i loved you as a player, you were a champion through and through. But after five years of steadily declining performances,it's clear to me that you can not coach, and you are doing untold damage to this club. Please resign for the good of the club, before your reputation is sullied even further.

Wrong, if we're now developing, let's develop them with a functional game plan. Why waste a year teaching them more of this rubbish.
How do you know they are being taught rubbish? You get in behind the closed doors to the inner sanctum do you?
They could well be receiving the right instruction, but don't yet have the experience, skills, on-field leadership and confidence to translate it.
Because I have eyes and can see the shit we produce on the ground. It doesn't take someone in he inner sanctum to see we are an abysmal football team right now

Agree re Swan. I always thought so. So often he lifted the team and got them back in it. He is in my opinion the player of his generation. He is very badly missed and will be very hard to replace. Big shoes to fill.
