Here's a Question, Mr. President.
There's been Net-wide speculation about why Heath Scotland can't force his way into the Seniors. He seemingly has all the attributes required - class, skill, poise and even form. And, just as seemingly, the midfield is lacking that one viable option.
So why hasn't Scotty been able to work his way back in while seemingly lesser candidates have been given the gig before him?
Regards,
S.

Ash, I know it's more a question for Y2Malty, but he doesn't seem to be perusing the Boards. I think the President would have some insight to the selection process.
As for not ripping up the Reserves, well, nobody does. It's a terrible competition and since Teams are affiliated (between AFL and VFL), you don't really get the unity and teamwork of a real Reserves Team, or even a real VFL Team.
The only thing the Reserves are good for is to regain fitness (i.e. Damien Adkins), or to drop a player to regain form, (i.e. Anthony Rocca). Otherwise, the competition is so shocking - as an integrated staging-ground for younger players - that it's not really suited for cultivation.

Look for Scotty to be announced in the seniors for Round 17. How do I know ?. I don't, but he should be given a chance. Logical ain't it ! As some players may be dropped from last round.

Cool pics; reminds me of my dog (who looks nothing like yours) who climbs up on the table outside and lays down there. Not sure why she likes it up there so much.

Sly,
Your dog's probably trying to get a tan or something. Have you caught it wearing shades and a cap?

No, Clemo, my dog's a Husky-cross, so she loves the cold. Particularly irritating when she pushes the door open and sits in the doorway; fine for her but the rest of us are freezing.
