The rule is pretty clear that a head clash can be considered rough conduct if it is foreseeable - this is clearly the case if you arrive late and are off the ground I would have thoughtBob Sugar wrote:Reckon he'll get one, accidental or not when you choose to hit late 'and' hit high you're in trouble.Dave The Man wrote:Hopefully Daisy get a few weeks for Hitting Aish in the Head

I should have also said that it is probably considered a 2 week with 1 week on a guilty plea (depending if they think it is on the high scale). He hit late and Aish clearly couldn't protect himselfthink better wrote:The rule is pretty clear that a head clash can be considered rough conduct if it is foreseeable - this is clearly the case if you arrive late and are off the ground I would have thoughtBob Sugar wrote:Reckon he'll get one, accidental or not when you choose to hit late 'and' hit high you're in trouble.Dave The Man wrote:Hopefully Daisy get a few weeks for Hitting Aish in the Head

GREAT night all round really, Truffles Turnbull nearly our on his arse, and we take the Bluescum in a close and dour game. What I saw of the match, it was no great spectacle, just a gutsy win over a hated and despised rival. I reckon the media went a bit over board over Silvagni, I don't recall Moore getting all that family hype when he played his first game ?
WE bank four precious points, and move on, can we slay the Giants, that is the question now.

Stop it - donut envy at a threshold at present...FrankieGoesToCollingwood wrote:A win is a win. I think the most exciting thing about last night was the 2 warm doughnuts I scoffed down during the walk back to the car.
I suppose they were covered in sugar, and dripping jam down your chin as you walked and ate, huh?

So was Bigfooty. The GameDay thread on the main board was only 7 pages. Not unexpected as we've become and irrelevant club, one of those waiting until it is mathematically impossible to make finals.Cam wrote:Amazing how quiet Nicks is after any win. lol
People don't care about such clubs and a lot of our supporters have shut up shop too. A couple of token wins against other meaningless teams. We will see some enthusiasm if we can beat GWS.

Agreed, but I suppose, three generations playing for the same team is a bit special. Good luck to the kid. Did't look out of place at all and should have had 2 goals next to his name.Piesnchess wrote:GREAT night all round really, Truffles Turnbull nearly our on his arse, and we take the Bluescum in a close and dour game. If I had a choice between Moore and Silvagni, I'd take Moore without a moment of thought.

True but I must admit... Silvagni looks like he could develop into a dangerous and capable player... give it time. They have done well, as have we.What'sinaname wrote:Agreed, but I suppose, three generations playing for the same team is a bit special. Good luck to the kid.
