De Goey, Crisp, White, Fasolo, Grundy, Treloar and Moore all missed shots they should have kicked. Cloke missed 1 he should have kicked. Why does he get the special attention? He might not be the best kick in the world but his performances week in, week out for a decade, demonstrate that he's the best CHF Collingwood has put on the field in the last 60 years.
Aish showed incredible skill a couple of times, today. He won some contests that he should have lost and he has better hands than any of our mids, save for Pendles and Sidey. You mean our second ruckman Mason Cox who has kicked 15.7 from 10 games, 78 hitouts and 24 tackles? Compared to Trav [bless him he turned back the clock today] who before today from 7 games had kicked 7.9 and laid 15 tackles...AN_Inkling wrote:Best win of the year. It was absolutely awesome to see Cloke somewhere near his best. I hope anyone suggesting he doesn't have value in the league or for us was watching that game. So glad we went with our form forwards and dropped Cox who has really given us nothing in his time in the seniors. Kicking the odd goal is of little value if you're not doing all of the little things that someone like Cloke does and Cloke's worst game this year has been better than Cox's best for that reason. Outside of a few goals, Cox has provided very little.
Having Adams and a forward line back really made a difference. Cloke, White, Fasolo, Moore is a major upgrade on Cox, Crocker, Witts etc. And Brodie Grundy
Howe was great, Sinclair good again and the midfielders worked together and smashed their counterparts. Such an encouraging performance all round.
