Can't fault our effort but disappointing result in the end.
Giving the Crows a five-goal head start and constantly butchering the ball cost us.
Still think we're tracking along better than we were a month ago so I wouldn't write us off against North Melbourne.

Broomhead (or anyone else) in for Blair.
Lack of a crumbing forward or two is killing us. We are Getting the ball in there enough and can't rely on marks every time.
Simple brain fade mistakes costing us.
Rectify those and we are in with more than a chance.
Don't, then we will continue on this downward spiral.

Just lacked the polish to finish it off.
How many times did we miss targets streaming into the 50?
Better disposal and we would have been so much closer.
We played it out.

Really harsh on Ben Reid in the game thread.
Has been brilliant this season on half-rat-power, has clearly lost a yard due to his injuries.
Made a few blues tonight, but I'd contend that he has some credits in the bank to avoid the "bowl of useless" comments and the like.

Apparently they scored 28 points more from turnovers than we did.... says everything about tonight.
Great effort but so bloody frustrating to watch. We can/could/did match it with them for most of the game. That's two weeks in a row. OK we lost by 5 goals... so I guess you could argue we didn't... I personally think we did.
We won contested possessions, tackles, hitouts, barely lost the clearances (-2), reigned in the inside 50 differential (-9 in the end when it was -15 at one point). Early on it was totally down to our accuracy in front of goal - which sadly put us behind the 8-ball very very early.
They're a good team, make no mistake. Not that good though. I think the loss of Fas, combined with Moore and Cloke to a degree having very average nights was really the difference.
Tried damn hard. Oh well... almost time for me to start suffering through another Detroit Lions season.... hopefully we can put another nail in the Kangaroos coffin next Friday... although that's it for us now so I doubt it.

The effort was good.
The coaching wasn't bad.
The forward line was pathetic, absolutely pathetic.
The kicking into the forward line was poor.
Special mention to Sinclair, well done son.
And for any Nickster who has criticised INXS88 and me re Blair
Well I have said it before and I will say it again.
He is not AFL standard full stop.
Look at his failed tackle in the last quarter that resulted in a Crow goal.
Poor old Caff is cooked.
We are not far off being a very good team.
