Well Done Tarrant!!!

Post by NICK THE PIE MAN »

With all the negative dribble targeted at Tarrant over the last few weeks, it was great to see him hit back at some of you armchair critics. On ya Chrissy.

We love You Taz! We do!

i said in a previous topic just now, i think he is a superstar, but there is someone at the coaching level at the pies that needs to have a good look at themselves, cause with Chrissy i see shades of sav slowly creeping in....only in the fact that he seems to be under the ball a lot, or leading too soon???

i mean its not Tarrant im sure, but its someone there....

yeah his form has been a lil down, but he has had some pretty good "stoppers" on him....i have forgiven his lull. he'll be back bigger and better than ever before we know it...

*he needs Dermie down there helping him out*

tarrant is nothing like sav. unlike sav, tarrant is one of the best leads that I've seen at c'wood in years. the reason why the ball sometimes goes over his head or falls at his feet was because the delivery from the midfield wasn't good enough. he knows where to lead, how to find space, covers a lot of ground and is super quick. and, as evidenced on saturday, he is deadly accurate at goals esp. with those shots from the pocket.

oh, yeah, GO CHRISSY! i thought that last week he was leading well, and doing all the right things, but the deliverys to him were either too late, or just really poor. I was also crackin it at all the pies supporters baggin him. GIVE HIM A BREAK! i bet this week they were cheerin him as load as i was! I think he has HEAPS & HEAPS to offer the collingwood fc, so we should lay off off him in his 'down' games, the guy deserves all of our respect.
GO CHRISSY TARRANT!

Taz played a great game and had his kicking boots on. Did ya notice he was wearing a short sleeved guernsey. I didn't realise how big his biceps are. Long sleeves can be pretty deceiving.

Great to see Chris have a great game, it will give him a bit of a confidence boost for the coming weeks. His last game against Richmond was a bit of a downer, if he can play well on friday night, it may set him up for a big couple of weeks, which we need if we are to make the finals.
