We got nutted before the clearances. We were nutted during the week some time, when our coaches formulated their zoning game plan and imparted it to our players.

He also admitted that he knew how Richmond would play before hand, and then proceeded to let them have their way with little to zero resistance - like WTF?!?

That was the term i was looking for, but sometimes by brain can't verbalise properly, particularly when i'm seething from witnessing such ineptitude.

Yep, my heart sunk when I saw the selection at poor DeGoey's expense.
We are effectively taking to the field with 21 players.

Buckley - I WARNED you in the pre-match thread....
If we were found to be a midfielder short at the end of the game, which we were, I would tear you a new arse....
Your obsession with that oxygen thief Blair is most certainly unhealthy for team balance. And it's giving many of us the shits good and proper.
It cost us vital run through the middle, while Martin and Cotchin did what they pleased, waltzing around our plodders, breaking way too many tackles with almost effortless fend offs.
Sure they were caught a couple of times and pinged, but not enough.
No doubt his dismal effort will warrant automatic selection next week too?
And even if we had a full list free of injuries, i'm sure you'd still find room for him in the starting 22?
Yet ironically, it wasn't Blair's fault we lost the game...
Way too many complacent, over-paid, ball slaughtering senior players, living the high-life on last week's effort, not getting enough of the pill.
The fact that Aish, Wills and Smith were probably our most effective ball movers, is a sad indictment on those same senior players, and even more so on your coaching, or lack thereof.
You cannot be relied upon to correct any of these deficiencies over the 2017 pre-season; nothing really changes from year to year.
Time for you, Mr.Harvey, and Mr.Hart to vacate your posts at seasons end.

Losing to this steaming heap of turds; the tribe has spoken. Vamoose.

Zoning, players who don't know where to run to etc etc.
Poor coaching again tonight.
Players are deficient with their skills, but there is a panic which causes this because they are uncertain where support is and where to run to. That is a coaching deficiency.
One team, one dream - the Pies and this year's premiership

pies v tigers

Post by orie »

I am so OVER watching the pies perform like that every week.

Even when they have won, their skill level was atrocious and tonight they just butchered the ball by hand and foot.

I hate FOOTY at the moment and I am Sick of watching the pies play . No more matches for me . I could have told you that that would happen tonight.
Richmond had the heat on them all week.
What did the pies expect?
The free kicks for goal in the first quarter were rare gifts, not deserved. I didn't have to go to the game to know what the outcome would be.

That's it for me. Feeling really mad and disappointed..

Mainly MAD.

Goals and tackles are overrated, coaches are looking for 1%ers nowadays

Make no mistake, once Moore went off last week, we were deplorable. Only our tackling, and rare stoppage goals inside 50 saved us in the final 12 mins. A week later we replace Moore with Cox and Blair, and we think we're going to score goals? Sidebottom to the forward line perhaps? Howe? No. Let's move Zmatley there in the final 15 mins! Hshshaha!!!

Why do you hate FOOTY so much? How would you change the situation?
