Where was the 50? Stringer wouldn't give the ball back.

Why did the umpire let the clock run down?

Great effort and not unhappy after a loss for the first time this year.

Aish, Grundy, Crisp, De Goey, Treloar all excellent.

Sidebottom was virtually sexually molested with a minute to go in our forward line. The umpires were the difference, but the boys were marvellous. Put Reid or Fasolo in that side and we win.

We are coming, have no doubt about it.

Great effort but another shattering defeat. We just find all kinds of ways to lose. Still lacking anything that resembles composure. This sort of loss feels so much worse than a flogging, hopes get built up and nothing happens. No reason not to have won that game.

I'm getting sympathetic to that view. Last week was injury, but it is beginning to look as though the game as passed him by.

I noticed that too - does the clock only stop after a mark is taken, and not a free? Me confused. Umpiring - <snip> PUTRID.

Great game. Pity to lose.

Umpiring is so inconsistent.
