Please refer to the "in B&W" with Nick on the cover, published early this year.
Yes he was considering his future, then he played a couple of good game and decided that Collingwood was the place to be.
He knows he is required at Collingwood and he knows there is a premiership medallion with his name on it in the not to distant future.

Crapola guys...he loves the pies and is best mates with Chrissie Tarrant and the two are loving life. Guys give Eddie and the boys more credit do u honestly think they would jeapordise all this hard work and investment in the future by letting the Davis go. The only players that will leave Collingwood are the ones we will actually get rid off...We should all be more responsible before we right and perhaps even respond to this crap.

Okies this is not what I wanted to hear today. I have just got back from Perth about 2 hours ago and I come on here and see that my fav player might be leaving. Gee ppl dont give me a heart attact plz!

But I have read all the posts he I agree this is BULLSHIT!
