Curly is talking with us and our old enemies...
Not a bad player and still only 28...
Could be a Luke Ball type who just lifts us the extra notch...
Also, on our wen site, young Brown seems a certainty, mentioned as a Caleb Daniel type who is ready to go...
I would still love Daicos...
Man was I lucky to see that bloke play...
From Bustling Billy Picken to Flying 'Billy' Elliott, and all others who I have and have not been blessed enough to watch pull on our proud jumper...Gentlemen, I salute you!!

Would be happy to recruit Chris Mayne. Applies good defensive pressure in the forward line. Would assist the development of Moore.

straight swap for cloke would be about as good as we could get.

Will also likely compete with Blair- so anti-Blair brigade may end up happy

I'd say Buckley's number one complaint over the year was lack of forward pressure. It was a big part of why Cloke missed games. Mayne's signing would make a lot of sense.

Lack of forward pressure results in fewer goals from turnovers in our forward line, and more coast to coast goals against us.

We need forwards who can apply it and play 2 way football.

Does Blair get our marked by a 5'10" opponent?
Does Mayne not give first option to baulk and sell candy to invisible players?
Has Blair ever turned a game off his own boot like all small forwards should?

my number 1 complaint also. we got crushed by the ball sweeping out from half back. Cloke, White and Cox on the same team was the worst kind of experiment ever imagined.....
