AndrewT may be a credible source, but he is not talking to everyone at the club. My view is his opinions are being formed by the person or persons giving him the information, which he is assuming is gospel and representative of every person at the club's view.
He seems to think Buckley got rid of anyone with personality. What he isn't taking into account is what were these players with personality were doing in house. If it is anything like I saw on the field, which was playing like big heads, then that may be your answer.

If the players were not committed they would not have performed as they did in the last few rounds. I saw Collingwood in 1976 and that is what happens when a team and club is divided. I cant imagine why anyone sensible like Cam would call AndrewT a credible source ...?mooretreloar wrote:AndrewT may be a credible source, but he is not talking to everyone at the club. I agree. As I posted earlier this week, at 4-8 at the bye if the team weren't happy with Buckley, then they would have put the cue in the rack and we would have ended up 4-18. It was exactly the opposite, we beat finalists in GWS and WCE, lost by a point to another finalist in Hawthorn and by 3 points to another finalist in the Dogs. Also, competitive against Adelaide. So, rubbish to say they aren't playing for Bucks.

Tongue firmly implanted in cheek I think. All the scuttlebutt suggests Wells to Collingwood so it's not that great a claim to suggest it's a done deal. Hardly makes anyone either creditable or a genius.Mugwump wrote:If the players were not committed they would not have performed as they did in the last few rounds. I give AndrewT (and any previous incarnation) zero credibility.Cam wrote:AndrewT is a bit rough and edgy, but is worth listening to.
Mooretreloar is much more refined and polished, and is also worth listening to.
AndrewT could work at the club, be an ex-player or current administrator for all I care. Having inside info doesn't make the representation of that info honest, reasonable or indicative of the truth.
The world is full of the bitter and the disgruntled.
If one claims inside knowledge, then the onus is on that person to present their credentials so that their credibility can be evaluated.
That, or zip it.
"I'm the source" What a ripper.
