Absolute rubbish.

If Cloke did what was asked of him and got fit, adopted a transitional game style and lost some weight he would have played the majority of the year at AFL level and would have still been a Pie.
Stabbed in the back all 3 I say... stabbed in the back.
Ahhhh the old Cloke pitchfork manoeuvre... Now just need a rusty sword to take out David...

No more can a bloke named Cloke send us broke and choke like a 1966 Mini Moke.

The juniors have been joking about a Travis Choke every time they miss for a couple of years now.

But, at the price the Doggies paid you don't need him to score to get value. That's the secret. If he shoots for the stars now it'll be a case of no $bucks$ = no pressure. He did it to himself when he demanded an "A" grade wage which he was going to struggle to deliver value on. No-one has sympathy for high wage earners. Look at the tax rates.

Good luck Clokey. Try working for love and satisfaction. If it works for you, pass the advice on to your children. IMHO you will have improved on the advice you got.

Ignoring all other issues and based on trade value alone, I would rather have kept him.

Pick 76 in the draft is more likely to draft a player that won't cut the grade than and play 0 games. Past pick 50-60, it's equivalent to the rookie draft pool.

This deal has weakened the list.

The draft pick was irrelevant.

The issue was his salary.

And his brothers both had such fantastic careers after they left. Would you like to quote the stats. Elites - No Way. A Graders - No way. B Graders - No way.

And how would you rate rate Travis Cloke's attitude in 2016. Professional - No Way. Committed - No Way. Cooperative - No way.

You do the math.

We are well rid of the Cloke saga.
