Kristin i hope that comment about Matthew Richardson doesnt come back to haunt you. Matthew Richardson is a match winner. He showed some promising signs in the last quarter against the Bulldogs

I would take him as a swap for mckee.
but seriously
The idea is to have a wakelin or richo or burns cutting off the passes, spare man in defence if frawley will allow it.
Frawley knows the pies moves and he coaches well against us.
In fact he outcoached MM something shocking in the first round.
Its up to the players really to be tuned in.
The key to the game is the delivery of the ball at both ends.
turnovers will decide this match make no mistake.
I have watched on tv a lot of richmond games and they really get a run on from a quick turnover.
Ottens and Richo (not Ours) run up to get a kick as far as the wing just like Taz has to for us.
The key is to(as they say in john wayne territory) cut them off at the pass.

Well JLC,
Whats goin on? I would just like to say to you that you are worrying about the job in hand and that if I was the coach or on the recruitment staff I would be hiring you asap and if we were playing at Colonial, before the game we could go have a beer with all the lads it would be mad fun but I would say that if the man RICHO is back this week he can be the 1 that delivers Brad Ottens or BICHARDSON a bath what

What do u think?

Daniel

PS: See you in the Ponsford!!!!!

See Kristin you bagged Matthew Richardson and last night he was effectively the match winner for Richmond. The bottom line is the guy is a match winner!!

i dont think it was a matter of any richmond player winning it...
it was more a matter of collingwood losing it.

Yeah, we definitely had our chances to win that game but shocking kicking for goal and messing around with the ball on our backline killed us.

And one problem we've had for most of the year is getting the ball out of the middle. That's got to be looked at over the summer. I love Josh to death but he just doesn't have the strength or timing at the moment to be our number one ruckman. McKee has had some good games but needs to be more consistent and I much prefer Rocca up forward than in the ruck.

And I have to say I really enjoyed the first half, even though the quality wasn't there from either side, as our boys played tough pressure football. We had two and three players laying tackles, we played close and hard and you could see the Tiges were under heaps of pressure. There were at least two occasions we should have received a free for 'deliberate out of bounds' due to the opposition panicking. If we could have kept that pressure up for four quarters and actually kicked straight we would have had that match.

It was a shit result and I hate seeing our finals chances slipping away but we have some really exciting young players who are only going to improve. They'll hate yesterdays result as much as we do!

GO PIES!
