Image of his old man, will be a fantastic player, no doubt.

There's a feeling of nostalgia tonight with the selections of Brown and Daicos.

There were two impressive things on his highlights reel.
1. The way he moves through traffic on the field. He pushes through packs with the ball and doesn't get caught. Pendlebury, Treloar and Adams can all do that but we needed a smaller player with that level of sure footedness and young Brown is it.
2. He seems to be very good at making quick decisions and therefore disposing of the ball creatively. We need more of that too.

Derek Hine on Callum Brown:
Quote:
"I was hoping one (a bid) wasn't going to come, but I was expecting one. I thought North might have been the problem, but it didn't really matter in the end. He's a consistent performer and we knew what we were getting when we took him."
And North did bid. Interesting since Gavin works for North atm.
Absolutely wrapped that we've officially got him, but I wonder who the club may have been looking at if no bid arrived?
I think we'll see him debut early. Cant wait.

North Melbourne you sneaky pricks.
Just realised they bided using the compo pick they got for Wells.
Gee, imagine the uproar if we passed.
