You're slipping. :P

Saw the first two seasons quite a while back now and agree it's well worth a look and being an English production I'm sure even old outraged from Fitzroy WPT could like it.

Gillian Anderson is aging nicely though I prefer her as a redhead.

I'll be checking out Westworld before to long.

Currently I'm on episode 4 of Quarry.

Looks promising. The show is about a maligned Vietnam vet who enters the world of contract killing.

Got Aussie actor Damon Herriman in it (not the lead role) who you'd recognise from Justified (Dewey Crowe).

I am slipping a bit. Trying to catch up on all those "one day......" series. Recently smashed all 7 seasons of The Good Wife in about 2 months. LOVED it. Have now moved on to How To Get Away With Murder. So far so good.

Suggest doing Westworld ASAP. It's beyond awesome. I think you'll enjoy it.

Have heard good things about Quarry. Will check it out next. Loved, loved, loved Dewey Crowe. Miss, miss, miss Justified.

Anyone watching The Exorcist television series?

It's gotten better as the season progressed.

I'm currently watching the first season of Dusk till Dawn.

Yep, sure am. Really enjoying it too, as an Exorcist tragic.
Episode 9 just aired in the US after a three week break.

Dusk till Dawn is okay; the guys playing the Gecko brothers are awesome, taking over from Clooney and Tarantino.
As you can tell the vampires are more serpent-like, than traditional.
Got through the first and second season, and will do the third shortly.

Caulfield South is not Fitzroy.

That's like comparing Moe to Morwell

Saw a series on Netflix or Stan the other week which I didn't mind at all : "Paranoid" I think it was called. Police, crime, thriller and English German co-production

& I love Upper Middle Class Bogan - great writing & acting. Good fun.

Swoop, episode 10 just aired; I think that's it for season 1.
Haven't researched into whether or not they will go another season in 2017.

I've watched/watching a couple of new shows that have created a lot of buzz this year.

Firstly Stranger Things:
https://www.rottentomatoes.com/tv/stranger_things/
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4574334/
http://www.tv.com/shows/stranger-things/

If you love movies like The Goonies, Stand By Me, Super 8, Stephen Kings IT or hell anything Spielberg from the 80's then you'll enjoy this show. Not as good as the critics would have you believe but still better than most.

The OA:
https://www.rottentomatoes.com/tv/the_oa
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4635282/
http://www.tv.com/shows/the-oa/

Pretty original and intriguing television which hooks you in the further it goes. Wont be for everyone.

Considering I rarely had a clue what was going on at any time watching Stranger Things, I thought it was brilliant.
