This is a game. The content holders have to pay $50 per site. Get ready for a whole lot of sites popping up every minute. I am sure there will be a website listing sites and blocked sites. I started downloading even more now, even shows I am not interested in out of protest I currently have 32 downloads happening. Woot.

I don't watch that much TV. I've got stuff I downloaded, whole series, still on the portable hard drive.
That reminds me, I'm sick of waiting for season 2 of Gotham on Netflix. It's already in the US and season 3 is currently broadcasting.
Might have to go get a copy.

Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.

iso hunt gone, be interesting how quick another pops up. If China can't block everything why does this judge think we can?

Interestingly, of the five sites blocked, I hadn't even heard of three of them; as for the other two, Torrentz was just an aggregator and the one I used to use (The Pirate Bay) has effectively been dead for the past year anyway. Relieved that that's as far as they've been able to go at this stage. (And it's particularly good news that they'll have to obtain a court order for every new site they wish to add.)

Still won't stop them Blocking Other Trackers but I think they will go after Streaming Sites way more then Torrent SitesDavid wrote:Interestingly, of the five sites blocked, I hadn't even heard of three of them; as for the other two, Torrentz was just an aggregator and the one I used to use (The Pirate Bay) has effectively been dead for the past year anyway. ^ Correct. Pirate Bay was basically a shell of itself too, as far as I'm aware (page still up but no active torrents).
Do you think so? I thought streaming was an area where people are much more likely to pay for content (e.g. Netflix, Stan, etc.).Dave The Man wrote:Still won't stop them Blocking Other Trackers but I think they will go after Streaming Sites way more then Torrent Sites
