Bad news Dave; Telstra has blocked the proxies too:

Content Denied...
Have you Tried FireFox or Chrome as they have Free Proxy Add-Ons.

More like that Rupert Murdoch has Bribed the Australian Government so people have to pay for his Shitty Foxtel
Dave, you and Bucks5 are legend hackers, with Lex Luthor type evil genius lateral thinking skills.
Using chrome with the proxy add-on. Nice work lads.

Can you elaborate on exactly what "the deep web" is please?
I've googled it but it seems rather vague; and I probably don't have enough bit-coins to buy any semi-automatic weapons at present!

cheers

The Deep Web is a Very Dodgy Place. Full of Criminals and Hackers.

Video's about it: [will check them out!]
Will stay off Tor unless absolutely necessary then! Sorted!

Good Idea. Should only be Last Resort but most likely won't need it IF you get a VPN

Dyso, TOR is fine if you stick to mainstream websites like those found in located on Google.

Deep web sites generally don't advertise themselves for obvious reasons. The ones I have seen have the word 'onion' in the URL, eg. http://76qugh5bey5gum7l.onion/

It is generally advised that people avoid torrenting over Tor, simply because it's easy for people to discover your IP. I don't know how much of an issue that is in the current context, though, given that the government is just blocking sites, not chasing downloaders. The same principle would apply to a VPN.

Otherwise, there are some civil liberties advocates who say we should all be using Tor on a day-to-day basis anyway. There's certainly no problem with it, unless you're trying to do something illegal in the first place.

DTM, I forgot to ask you yesterday - which VPN do you pay for, and how much?

If I can jump in here, I'm using IP Vanish and paying $10 a month. I did my research beforehand and that seems to be one of the most reputable ones. Only just signed up recently, but it seems to work well!

IP Vanish and Express VPN. I use Kodi, and IP vanish is on of the best to use with kodi. No data retention and about 200 servers worldwide. There are always specials, it's about $50us at the moment.
