Anyone a camera expert? Photography fan?
Was going to get a very good compact camera but am now leaning towards an SLR instead. Just not sure if I will: A - master the manual operation that's confusing the F out of me at the moment (I've never used google so much.. wth is ISO??); B- be bothered carrying it around often enough or C - make the trips to the beach etc that I'm intending to. Intention & reality for me are often many miles apart.
I'm almost at the point of forgetting about a new camera altogether.
Yep Kyrgios I try to understand, but I give up. If anyone who watched it tonight can still support him I don't understand them. I for one couldn't be bothered watching him again! Can be so exciting to watch at times then bang next minute totally out of the blue he doesn't give a f@*k.
We bought our house 17 years ago - the bloke we bought it off had a boarder ( obviously a strange bloke cause when we did the inspection he had a swag on the floor and a big animal head on the wall)
Seems he should have been paying Child Support - because for 17 years despite the fact we have " returned to sender not known at this address" opened them to ring whoever the hell kept sending them (and got a lecture about how we shouldn't have opened them!) we have been getting his bill ( which is now massive) from the tax office and yet another arrived today after the twerp that I rang 3 months ago when the last one arrived assured me we wouldn't get anymore
Fck me how hard can it be??? A year I could understand - but 17!!!!!!!!

What is it with identitarian leftists and cupcakes (and Disney films, and cute Tumblr memes)? I get that it's an attempt to explain privilege and disadvantage, but stuff like this just comes across as really trite.
"Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange
Evil? Really? Look, it's annoying, but it's just a stunt designed to demonstrate the concept of intersectional privilege (although it's curious that "all women", Theresa May and Paris Hilton included, are thought to be more disadvantaged than African-American males!). Dumb, yes; trite, sure; but if you find this evil, you must have a pretty enormous list of things that you would define as such.

It's the mentality that starts violence : the spite, the pettiness, the demonization of classes of people for things they are, rather than the content of their character or what they do. It may not be as evil as what happened in Nice - but the root of it is the same. Right across this world, there are white males grappling with depression, poor education, joblessness, age-prejudice, illness, and much besides. But yeah, they're privileged, and we're the well-educated young - let's go after them.
