I agree 100 per cent.
Yes please. For those that are interested they can continue to follow the league in the seperate forum, for those of us that are not we wish to stop scrolling through the list of topics searching for senior team updates and discussion points.

TBH the legend who's kicked 77 goals in 14 matches could probably get a game ahead of most of the senior team at the moment.
How on earth do you equate people's opinions on the AFLW that if they don't think it is of good quality they are sexist!!! Just because I think that the womens AFL game is just a novelty and lacks any real skill how does that make me sexist!! I'm sorry but watching ball up after ball up after ball up and seeing 5 goals kicked by both teams for a game is not my idea of entertainment, i'll stick to the real AFL. Just so you know I coach girls and womens basketball at Victorian Championship representative level and have for many years. Womens basketball vs mens basketball against women's AFL vs mens AFl is no comparison. I enjoy watching women's basketball more than the men as it is very technical, very skilful and physical and they score heavily. Only thing that is missing is the showmanship with a good dunk every now and then.
So refrain from calling anyone 'sexist' just because they are not interested. I come into to Nicks to see what is happening with the mens AFL team as I have done for over 15 years. If I want to know something about the womens team or the netball team I can click somewhere else. There are enough people and I would suggest in the majority that are politely asking for the AFLW to have their own forum page on here, didn't think that was too much to ask without being labelled sexist.
not sure it's even worthy of it's own forum, why not just put it in the sports bar? Ffs you make us use another forum for other afl teams which is way more relevant than this tokenistic crap ever will be!

Given that 1) some forums end up being the graveyard where good threads go to die, and 2) unlike the VFL, the AWFL fixture doesn't occur at the same time as the Seniors, lets just see how it goes.
It may make GD more interesting up until the end of March - you never know, nobody was particularly interested in the BBL in the beginning.
While it seems many on here agree it should be called AWFL, the AFL decided against that name, for obvious reasons.
Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down.
I realise some people are interested in it, which is fair enough, but a lot of us are not in the slightest bit interested in this sub-standard media driven exercise. I come on to Nicks to follow discussions about the CFC not the CWFC.
FFS get rid of the AFLW threads from the main board. Not interested in it, just the mens comps. I watched the mens practise match the other night and that is all I'm excited about. The AFLW is excruciating to watch for traditional football lovers. Put it in its own area.
