Nice to finally have a win on the board.

The third quarter was the obvious highlight of the night, otherwise we only kicked one goal in the other three quarters and we held scoreless in both the second and last quarter.

Sad to see Kate Sheahan hurt her knee within 45 seconds of her debut.

I was at the game. I wouldn't read to much into the fact that our girls didn't score in the second and fourth quarters. There was a strong wind blowing and the Doggies didn't score at that end either. I was actually very impressed with the way our girls played in the last quarter. They played possession football with short direct kicks. In a situation where they were defending a lead with their opponents kicking with the aid of a strong wind it was exactly the right tactic and most they executed it well.
