Himeji Jo is racing today at Sandown (race 8, No. 11 Fluro yellow colours) in her first race in the city. She ran well two weeks ago at the longer distance of 1600 m and a step up in class. She ran a solid second and finished well. She would not have beaten the winner but could have been ridden better.
Today there is another step up in class and distance to 1800 m. She should be a reasonable each way bet. There are a few decent horses in the field but if she continues to improve she should be in the mix.

That's horse racing. You have to take the good with the bad.

No Commitment ran 3rd and trainer is very happy with his progress. We now will step him up in distance (2000) getting him ready for the Spring Carnival.

Nice. I had 1 multi at Rosehill yesterday. I thought I was out after the first race but won on protest. Big Duke (Win) into So Si Bon (EW).
