Are we sure he didn't punch Greenwood in the hip?

For all the dumb arse lies you could come up to explain a broken hand, you'd have to question the intelligence of the guy to firstly lie when there are witnesses, and then come up with that pathetic whopper.

I thought it was so dumb that I thought it was true. Because no-one would come up with something so dumb for a lie.

With 4 weeks they say to get ready to play thats mid April then 3 weeks that early May

So wonder if he cares how it may impact on our first half dozen games

Very disappointed in DeGoose's actions, not what is needed anytime but particularly 5 days out from the season starter. Phillips, Aish, WHE will to stand up. Incidently, have you noticed the absolute silence from the AFL about the report on the weagles drug taking and tainted premiership - nothing. Where's slobbo now after accusing us last year.

On Collingwood site it stated he met with club officials AND leader group
Pendles ,Sidey and Tay who apparently metered out the punishment with the full agreement of the club

10 wks community type service (not sure what that is)

As usual I have a different take on things.
First question is what compelled him to lie?
No doubt the holier than thou culture at collingwood would have played a part.
Think about it.
Last free weekend before the big bash starts and and goes out to a mates 21st.
Big Deal!!!!
I would encourage that!
But no he gets in a fight and breaks his knuckle and the pure culture at collingwood raises it's ugly head and says ...your in trouble pal!
So he lies which is what 90% of young kids would do.
And he gets pinned.
So what do we do ...slap him with another 3 week penalty that will help slit our throat.
In the business of winning flags not running a sunday school.
Sick of it all.
