That was a good game. Easily the best and smoothest ball movement we've seen in a long time. A few thoughts on everyone:

Fas: Patchy
Pendlebury: Bounced back like the champ he is.
Elliott: See Fas.
Hoskin - Elliot: Did a lot of good, but cost us a couple with weakness in the contest.
Adams: A dynamo. Disposal much improved.
Moore: Best game in a long time, maybe ever.
Smith: Used the ball better than he ever has. Looked very good.
Crisp: Bounced back very well the last two weeks.
Grundy: Solid, but unspectacular.
Wells: I'm a fan. Hope he can stay healthy, we need his class.
Dunn: Did his job.
Treloar: Butchered it a bit.
Phillips: Good start, faded after half time.
Maynard: opposite of Phillips.
Howe: Not one of his better games.
Schade: Reliable, apart from one big mistake.
Sidebottom: Underperforming.
Broomhead: Like his hands, needs to get more involved.
Cox: Back to the 2's. We rag on Jessie, but he's better than this.
Varcoe: Ouch. See you in a few weeks.
Greenwood: Great job on of the comp's best.
Goldsack: Typical Goldy game. Ideally Scharenberg will replace him.

They all look the same to you don't they Rudie.

Parfitt was the player who injured his hamstring.
And Cockatoo who ran into Greenwood.
That's what i was saying. It was Cockatoo who ran in to knock Greenwood over.

Agreed Mooretreloar on the coaching today. Bucks and his staff, its not just him, were very good. They have been most of the year in truth - finally got a little reward today. there is more to come, we are on the right path.

In Bucks we trust.

I was at the game and it changed when we went man on man and stoped playing a zone. After the fisrt quater. Anyway it was great to win. Victory in a grand final and hopefully a Ferrari one two, to top off the weekend.

One of the most pleasing facets was Darcy Moore's game.

Weathered a storm of criticism, recently, to come out firing, today.
Donny.

It's a game. Enjoy it. :D

Anyone else notice Selwood having a sook with Pendlebury as the game was ending?

Pendlebury just had this WTF look on his face as he put out his hand to shake.
He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD!

Well done Pies. It was a much improved all round team performance. Everyone played their role and there were no passengers today. Loved how we took it to the cats from start to finish. The effort was there, better skills and decision making and moved the ball quicker with more fluid transition than we have previously. But all our good work will count for nothing if we can't back it up next week and smash the scum into a million pieces.

Still too many time players made the dumb decision to gang tackle than hold off for the drawn player. Sometimes players would wait too late to leave their man to apply pseudo pressure, allowing an easy chip over the top and easy release. We seem to not know when to stay back, or rush the back carrier, and it's annoying the crap out of me. It's just dumb football. Eliminate this junk from our game and we'd be a 2-3 goal better team.

Super game from Dunne.
Should've been in the side all season.
Hopefully stays in it from here.

You really should get out a bit more and smell the roses RH. We just beat an unbeaten top of the table side after just a 5 day break. We smashed them actually, and if not for the umpires giving the Cats everything in the last quarter, we would have won by 7 or 8 goals. Smile, sing the club song and be happy RH.

The game day coaching has been good all season.

Buckley did everything humanly possible last week with his moves against Essendon to win the game. The difference is nothing came off last week. This week all of the moves came off,

Still a bit of tweaking to do with team selection and getting the mix of players right on the field, then adjust that to the opposition setups we encounter.

Agree totally. What happened to the hands in the back rule, let alone push in the back? Forget that though. Standing southern stand in that 3rd q took me back to Victoria Park. Pour it on pies. Do it again next week. And go again...hey turn up next week. That crowd at the Ponsford end was a disgrace
