I'll take a 45 point win any day. Yeah, we should have won by more, but we killed them in general play.

Great to see The Berg back. Hopefully he can get through the rest of the season in the seniors.

It became glaringly obvious that we desperately need a good key position forward if we want to progress to the next level. Moore is not the type of forward to build a forward line around. It was good to see him take some marks today.

Elliott could have finished with 7 or 8. He's playing very well considering how long he was out for.

I really cant see any point persisting with Blair. Surely it would be better to get some games into Brown now - he cant go any worse.
I hold a cup of wisdom, but there is nothing within.

I expect players to kick most of their set shots. As for the team, my expectations have been low so any wins good.

It was cold and threatened to be rainier than it was, and we don't really play an exciting brand on the whole. Perhaps it was a surprisingly good crowd.

I'd leave brown in the VFL for now and bring in Cox for Blair.

Games like today never turn me on.

Defeating Brisbane is like beating up the disabled kid in the school yard.

It's easy and doesn't leave you feeling all that good about yourself.

The next two weeks will provide a better understanding of how we're traveling and I'm looking forward to it.

Geez most of you are "perceptive fellow" pessimistic see-everything-bad whingers. We THRASHED them on any stat that counts except conversion on goal, our perennial problem.

Fasolo was terrific. Bounced back big time.
De Goey starting to show what he's capable of.
Grundy - just looking forward to him taking more of those marks.
Goldy - fabulous
Dunn - he is SUCH a Collingwood type player. Favourite moment of the game was that 'get out of here' push on the far wing (from TV perspective)
Shaz - looks like he belongs
Moore - two years and they'll be talking about him like they are Daniher now
Pendles - nothing else can be said
Elliot - jeezes we missed him
Broomhead - showing signs
Maynard - love his contest. I think he's going to become a star of the competition
WHE - wish he wasn't soft
Adams - superb
Greenwood - makes other players walk taller with that manic look in his eye
Howe - nothing needs to be said
Smith - does done good things and won't die wondering
Phillips - serviceable, happy to have him there

Anyone would think that Annodam is a multiple Coleman medalist, maybe in AFL Evolution
People forget that our last premiership was only 2010 and rebuilds take some time. 2018 we play finals again.

The win doesn't really rate a mention, just move on. Elliott back is a big positive now that he's match fit, and it's helping Moore. I also think we can now drop Fasolo, who is not needed in this forward structure, allowing us to go with another runner, or a tall depending on opposition. Next week is a big test in a big away game, and Fremantle on the rebound back at home will be tough.

72 inside 50s, 21 marks inside 50, 18 goals and 39 scoring shots. I appreciate that the opposition was poor but that was a good return from our worst part of the field. If the conditions had made scoring a little easier, that could easily have been a 25 to 28 goal game. In a season where we aren't going to play off for the flag, the margins don't much matter - what you want is to see some improvement. There seemed to be some up forward today.

Slippery conditions leveled the contest somewhat, and our poor kicking for goal prevented us from securing a deserved 12-15 goal win. Got to be happy with that. Scharenberg has already proved me wrong. His delivery is silk and just what we need.

My only worry is that the radio reported after the game that Darcy Moore sustained a shin injury late, which might see him miss next week. We can't afford to miss our only key forward.
