^

may not be a good idea.

I know this sounds bad, but maybe we should look at having a quota system to keep the number of Muslims as a percentage of the population, particularly those of middle eastern background, under 3% until we can see they can assimilate.

^ it does sound bad. How about we keep it where it is today, while being very protective and accepting of the Muslim people who are here ? Why take more, when the consequences are so clear ? Fortunately none of my children were near London Bridge tonight. Alas, other people were.

They will just pretend to be good Christians to get in.
How would Siri know when to answer "Hey Siri" unless it is listening in to everything you say?

Don't worry.

Having to eat a range of pork products for anyone identifying as Christian will be a mandatory part of the test.

Totally useless. There is a well-established doctrine (unfortunately I can't remember the name of it) allowing a true believer to break the normal rules in order to achieve a higher purpose.

Jesuits have a similar doctrine, I think.

It's something the intelligence agencies and Liberals like Turnbull have been saying for ages, Skids. I think they know what they're talking about here. Alienation and conflict breed extremism. It's just basic human psychology.

Conservatives suddenly vulnerable according to the polls and this happens.

Conspiracy or not it's fair to say they'll use it for all the political benefit they can.

P.S-Surely it's time all English police carry guns. I wouldn't do the job without one.
While any suggestion of a government conspiracy is insane, I think it's at least somewhat plausible that the assailants were attempting to influence the election (and particularly the rhetoric of the incumbents). While they might not have a Trump or other right-wing extremist to get behind this time around, a victory for tougher-talking conservatives might be seen as a good result.
